Joseph Oather Cunningham was the fifth child of William Joseph Cunningham and his second wife Sarah Lela Russell. Oather died while a toddler a little over a year old and is buried in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery in the Bluff Community in Fayette County, Alabama.
